Introduction
IBM has released a number of software development tools and technologies that can be used by IBM customers to create their own autonomic software. These tools represent what can be considered the first wave of autonomic development tools. As we indicated previously, there is much to be done in making the transition to autonomic culture, and it is best to start now.
