The cloud era is fundamentally changing a new model that historically has been misconstrued and in a lot of cases over secured to the point of creating a business disabler verse and enablement for organization to innovate and progress their key business focus of leverage computing power to power their business.

On premise organizations have always controls or outsourced their approaches to network security by leveraging tradition OSI approaches. (e.g. The Open Systems Interconnection model (OSI model) is a conceptual model that characterizes and standardizes the communication functions of a telecommunication or computing system without regard to their underlying internal structure and technology).
