Secure Service Applications

Once you've created your Service Application, you may wish to delegate control of it to other administrators or otherwise grant specific permissions to specific accounts. This can be done fairly easily by going to the Manage Service Applications page and, with a Service Application selected, clicking the Administrators button in the Ribbon, which displays a dialog for managing the administrators of the selected Service Application. This can also be accomplished by clicking the Permissions button in the Ribbon, which displays a dialog for managing the unique permissions assigned to individual users. Figure 11.6 shows the current administrators for the Managed Metadata Service Application.
