In this section, we will examine how to configure Web Applications to support classic mode authentication using Windows PowerShell and the available SharePoint 2010 cmdlets.

We examined creating Web Applications using the New-SPWebApplication and New-SPWebApplicationExtension cmdlets in Chapter 7.
