ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Gary Lapointe is an independent consultant and owner of Falchion Consulting, LLC, as well as a principal and founding partner of Aptillon, Inc. Lapointe got his start with SharePoint in 2007, when his employer at the time decided to do an upgrade from SharePoint 2003 to SharePoint 2007. The upgrade was anything but simple, requiring significant structural changes to the existing information. In an attempt to make the upgrade process repeatable and testable, Lapointe wrote his first STSADM customizations.
