Using Microsoft Azure storage to back up files

In this chapter, we covered the basics of the services offered by a Microsoft Azure storage account. This includes file, blob, table, and queue storage. To illustrate the usefulness of these storage services, we will create a PowerShell script that backs up a folder on the local computer to Azure Blob storage, writes a manifest of the files backed up to Azure Table storage, and sends a message to Azure Queue storage indicating that the backup is complete.
