Chapter 5

Customizing Styles and Templates

Consistent standards improve communication and quality. Autodesk® Inventor® software comes with several standards from around the world that can be used as a foundation for constructing a company-specific standard. Inventor standards are based on a collection of styles. In this chapter, you will learn to modify styles and come to understand the process.

Another easy way to create consistency among users is to use templates with preconfigured styles. These templates can even be configured to shortcut the process of defining a part, assembly, or drawing.
