Working with Non-Inventor Data

Autodesk Inventor 2012 is used in many industries to fulfill many different roles. A common role is to design tooling and do other manufacturing support, and this means working with data that may not be sourced from Inventor and may or may not be 3D. In turn, Inventor users may have to give data to users of other systems inside or outside the company.

Architects use the products of mechanical engineers and designers everywhere in the buildings they construct.
