Combining Selections

In this lesson, combine selections to apply an effect to specific areas without affecting the rest of the image.

Overview

Use selections to isolate areas of an image for painting and applying effects. For greater flexibility, selections can also be combined. For example, when working on several parts of an image with complex shapes, you can add, subtract, or intersect any number of selections to isolate the specific areas required.
