Over the years, I've gotten a lot of phone calls, e-mails, questions at workshops, and other sorts of queries from people stymied by something in AutoCAD. Because I teach at a public college, I consider answering these questions to be part of my job; but in truth, I like being an unofficial help desk. Troubleshooting other people's problems keeps me up to date, and there is something really satisfying about sleuthing on other users' behalf.
