Storing, Presenting, and Extracting Data

AutoCAD 2012 has several features that allow you to manipulate nongraphical data within your drawings. (Please note that AutoCAD LT doesn't support these features.) In this chapter you will begin by defining attributes within a block definition to store data. You will proceed to enter values in several block references, and then you will create a table to organize and display this data on a drawing layout. The data shown in the table will be a mixture of static text and dynamically linked fields that display textual information in modelspace.
