3.1  INTRODUCTION

Digital technologies have revolutionized how a person can record, edit, and otherwise manipulate an audio sound signal. From creating a music bed to adding sound effects and editing out vocal mistakes, editing is a day-to-day part of audio production work, and it’s one of the more important skills a production person needs to know.
