About the author
Tony Grant began his career in broadcasting with the BBC, and first worked in the sound department at Television Centre, but later transferred to the camera department. He has worked in studios, on OBs, and on single camera locations at home and abroad, both as a cameraman and latterly as DoP. Throughout his career he has been actively involved with training, both in craft and production skills. Over the past few years he has organized and lectured on many training courses for several organizations including the BBC, ITV companies, cable and satellite, Ravensbourne College, the GTC and the BKSTS. He has written a wide variety of technical articles for the trade press, and has been freelance for the past few years.
