There are a lot of different paths you can go down when planning a successful Web business or strategy. The trick is to figure out which one is right for you and your specific situation. However, before you pick the one that is right for you, it's important to take a step back and define your short- and long-term goals, otherwise, you may find yourself spending years of time working on something that could be a big waste of your time.

Everyone has different goals when it comes to building a Web business, and those goals can be divided into short- and long-term goals.
