On how it all started…
I started my career 30 years ago, and I started as a practitioner, not as an academic. I was first a training director and was delivering many training programs in state government in Illinois. After that, I was widely involved in the insurance industry and my company and in setting up a training department from scratch, looking at everything from executive development to hourly workers and skill and technical training in an insurance environment.
