Summary

Using HTML pages, ASPX (Web Form) pages, HTML controls, and Web Form controls, you now have a fantastic environment for creating very robust, scalable, and flexible Web applications in ASP.NET. This chapter introduces a lot of concepts, and later chapters will dig into many of these concepts in more detail. You should find that the move from ASP or VB6 to ASP.NET is easier than the move from VB6 to ASP, because you now have the same development environment and the same programming model as you're used to working with.
