Microsoft Message Analyzer

Microsoft Message Analyzer supersedes Microsoft Network Monitor (Netmon) and is a tool to capture network traffic on Windows systems. Netmon requires you to log out and then log back in again after the installation, whereas Wireshark doesn't. You can read more about these two Microsoft tools online, but for clarity and brevity, we will focus on Wireshark for low-level network monitoring.
