ABOUT THE AUTHOR

TOI B. WRIGHT owns her own consulting business, One Stop Designs, which does web development for small- to medium-sized businesses all over the United States. She has a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. She has worked as a professional software developer for over 25 years and has been a Microsoft MVP in ASP.NET since 2005.

Toi has been a leader and organizer of technical user groups in the Dallas, Texas area for over a decade. She is the Founder and President of the Dallas ASP.NET User Group, http://www.dallasasp.net. She is also the Founder and President of Geeks in Pink, http://www.geeksinpink.org, which is a support organization for women in technology. In 2008, she organized the first WE ARE MICROSOFT - Charity Challenge Weekend, http://www.wearemicrosoft.com, which is a three-day event in which software developers donate their time to work on projects (such as a new website) for non-profit organizations. Since 2008, she has organized two more events and Microsoft has sponsored numerous similar events under the name GiveCamp, http://www.givecamp.org.

Toi lives in Dallas, Texas with her loving husband and two beautiful sons.
