Comments/Troubleshooting

The Tools component allows you to call several utility functions easily, but does not provide much flexibility in some cases. The most notable example of this is the ProcessForm method. This method, while excellent in theory, is less useful in practice, since it is not robust enough to use for high volume sites. This is the case with many of the methods of the Tools component. The PluginExists method is an exception to this, but it only works when writing ASP scripts for the Personal Web Server for Apple computers. Unfortunately, ASP on the Apple platform does not provide the same robust platform (due to the limitations of the ASP implementation, not the platform itself) as ASP written for use in a Microsoft-based operating system platform.
