I get that a lot.

Even after I spend time going over the many ways a company can embrace and engage an AOE spirit, people hear me and still come up with reasons why it would never work in their own businesses.

“That won’t work in my industry.”

“No one in my team would go for that.”

“I’d get laughed out of the conference room for suggesting it.”

It’s not that they think the AOE method is wrong. In fact, when most people hear it they think that it’s not just a great idea, it’s 100 percent necessary. They just think they can’t do it.
