Making Things: Electronic
Building a robot means connecting together various electronic stuff. Maybe it’s just plugging in wires between a robot controller and a pair of motors. Or it might be a complete circuit board that you made yourself.
Apart from the mechanical construction, which you learned about in the previous chapter, building a robot requires at least some electronic making. In this chapter you’ll learn about constructing the electronic subparts of your robot—including using solderless breadboards, tools you need to get the job done, and designing your own circuit boards—along with helpful tips and tricks to make the work go faster, and the result last longer.
