Arduino Up and Running
So you read in Chapter 1 that the Arduino is a development platform with a programmable microcontroller at its heart. You write programs for the Arduino using your PC. When you’re done, you send those programs to the Arduino, where they can operate independently of the PC. This is what allows you to use an Arduino in a mobile robot, without keeping it tethered to your computer.
Simple enough to say all this, but a bit more involved to actually do it. That’s where this chapter comes in.
