In the previous chapter, complexity was painted somewhat as a villain. Complexity itself is not the villain; complexity without data to support it is. While implementing cool features based on the data outlined in successful stories within popular blog posts and magazine articles could be considered data-driven, it is not really a data-driven approach that leads to success most often.
