These tables list the native editing formats for Final Cut Pro. Native format editing means that no transcoding to another format is necessary. Native Video Formats
This table lists the SD, HD, and 1K+ formats. Some supported wrappers include .mov, .mts, .m2ts, .mxf, .3gp, .avi, .mp4 in addition to the native wrappers of the formats listed.
