Training and Development Budgets
Training and development managers prepare budgets about the same way as any other manager prepares budgets—with a few special considerations.
Of course, the items T&D managers include in the budget are training-related—and there is always the issue of trainees’ salaries. Do they show up in the T&D budget or in the budgets for the trainees’ regular departments? Then there is the ambiguity of forecasting performance problems that haven’t yet happened.
