Conclusion

This second core process of Al can be considered to be complete when the client system has:

  • Understood and accepted the rationale for collecting “data” in the form of stories rather than in the more traditional form of analytic and reductionist quantitative ways;
  • Developed a customized protocol based on the selection of the primary topic chosen for inquiry in the previous core process;
  • Agreed on an “inquiry architecture” (who shall be interviewed, by whom, when, how, where, and how the data will be synthesized and used to make decisions about the future of the organization); and
  • Completed the actual interviews.
