Worldviews

A worldview is a lens through which we view and interpret reality. We see this in everyday life. Different groups of people have different worldviews: Conservatives versus liberals, teenagers versus adults, labor versus management. More formally, a worldview “is a system of beliefs that is interconnected in something like the way the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle are interconnected. That is, a worldview is not merely a collection of separate, independent, unrelated beliefs, but is instead an intertwined, interrelated, interconnected, system of beliefs.”1 The ...
