5.8. Summary
This chapter introduced the ‘Prestige Bike Hire application’ case study, which will be used to demonstrate EJB concepts in the rest of this book. The application uses session, entity, and message-driven EJBs, message queues, transaction management, and the EJB security infrastructure. It uses a Web application based on Jakarta Struts as the user interface.
