The purpose of this chapter is to explore the business process landscape of a big corporation and to assess to what extent advanced analytics has permeated those processes.
To do that, I review the information technology supporting such processes and address potential shortcomings. In the end, I provide a hypothesis into possible solutions to add more intelligence into business processes by embedding advanced analytics into them.
