Summary

In this chapter, I showed you how we can use the features of the MVC framework to build the triathlon application. You've seen how to create this application using the core ASP.NET features, using the Web Forms controls, and, now, using the MVC framework. Each has a very different nature and presents the developer with a different experience. My feeling when using the MVC framework is that there is a slow start that has to be endured (creating the model, the repository, the layout, and so on), and then functionality starts to come together with increasing speed and ease.
