Summary

This chapter covered the set of Web Forms controls that support validation. We started with an overview of how validation works and the validation models that the built-in controls provide. We then looked at how to style the error messages displayed to the user and how to group messages together using a validation summary. We finished by implementing some custom validation logic that can be applied at both the client and the server.
