Storing and Retrieving Data Using Lists

Instead of working with individual pieces of data stored in variables, it is often easier to work with groups of data stored in lists. For example, if you wanted to create a script that needed to work with the names of 50 people, you could create individual variables for each name. Alternatively, you could store all the names as a single list. Lists can be used to store any type of data and can be as long as you need them to be.
