Michael Rubin is an editor, educator, and writer. In 1985 he joined the team that George Lucas assembled to introduce cutting-edge technology to Hollywood. Since then he has designed nonlinear editing tools, and supported feature films and television projects such The Twilight Zone and The Sheltering Sky. He has consulted for Sony and Apple on video literacy, and is the author of numerous books, including The Little Digital Video Book and Beginner’s Final Cut Pro (both from Peachpit Press).
