Wireless Bridging

With wireless bridging, or Wireless Distribution System (WDS), one AirPort Extreme Base Station can access the Internet or other parts of the wireless network through another AirPort Extreme Base Station. Previously, each AirPort Base Station required its own wired connection to the Internet. With wireless bridging, you can daisy-chain up to four AirPort Extreme Base Station models. Unlike roaming networks, bridging does not require a wired connection between the base stations, but it works only with AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express Base Station models.
