Third-Party Tools and Utilities

For the most part, Apple's diagnostic tools are good for pinpointing trouble spots in misbehaving Macintosh computers, but they don't perform the repair work that can often restore a sick Mac to health. The following troubleshooting tools and utilities purport to fix specific issues, not just find them. Please note that these claims are made by the publishers themselves, not Apple.
