Lesson 25. Peripherals and Drivers

Apple pioneered the concept of automatic peripheral support with the original Mac. This feature, commonly known as plug-and-play, is now supported with varying success in all current operating systems. Peripheral hardware has also improved, as now the most common connectivity standards support hot-pluggable or even wireless connections. OS X is compatible with all popular peripheral standards, demonstrating continued commitment by Apple to making peripheral use as easy as possible.
