Configuring a NetBoot Client
As long as your client computer has the latest version of its firmware and is a supported client computer, you don’t need to install any other special software. The Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) (Intel) boot code contains the software used to boot a computer using a NetBoot image.
There are three ways to cause a computer to use NetBoot at startup:
• Press the N key on the keyboard until the blinking NetBoot globe appears in the center of the screen. This method allows you to use NetBoot for a single startup. Subsequent reboots return the computer to the previous startup state. Your client computer will then boot from the default NetBoot image hosted by the NetBoot server.
