Troubleshooting
If you install Lion Server on a Mac running Lion, you need an active connection to the Internet to download additional components. Confirm that your network connection to the Internet is active, and is not blocked by a firewall.
One common problem found in server installations is incompatibility with third-party hardware and software configurations. Isolate the changes to your system when you run into problems, and keep the variables to a minimum.
