Installing the YMLD Application
The source code (YMLD.java), panels, icons, and support files are found in the Chapter 11 link on the book's Web site (www.ibmpressbooks.com/title/0131855255). You don't have to compile this application on your machine because the executable image has been packaged as a .JAR file. The .JAR file contains the various class libraries and control information required to run the application.
Both program libraries and the YMLD database must be in the same directory as the application. The Web site includes a copy of the database in a zipped format (YMLD.zip).
