Verifying the Installation
In this section, we'll cover some different tests that you can perform to ensure that you set up your IBM Cloudscape environment correctly. The test scenarios in this section can be used to validate both manual and graphical installations.
Verifying a Database Installation
An easy way to test whether you've correctly set up your environment for an IBM Cloudscape database is to use the SimpleApp application that's found in the x:\<IBM Cloudscape Installation Directory>\Cloudscape_10.0\demo\programs\simple directory. This program will not run if the CLASSPATH or PATH system variables are not set correctly.
