Sun ONE Studio (AKA Forte for Java)
The official Java development environment from Sun Microsystems is Forte, or what is now known as Sun ONE Studio (to fall in with Sun’s view of Web services). This platform is built on top of Netbeans (http://www.netbeans.org/) technology and has a very impressive integration with Ant. Sun ONE Studio is available at

Version 4 of this software supports Ant features up to 1.4.1. The good news is that Sun ONE Studio comes with Ant already available, so there’s no need for a separate installation if you’re already running this IDE.
