Summary

Preparing for a final render and composite for each of your shots requires you to finalize lighting and confirm the existence and proper relative linking of all assets. The shot is examined for elements and backgrounds that can be extracted into still plates, and the remaining objects are split into Render Layers to facilitate compositing.

When you have achieved a solid final render on your local workstation, you can perform a lower quality render test of the whole shot to give a last look at the animation. When you are happy with it, it is time to render.
