Creation of Per-Shot Working Files from the Scene Template

You’ve worked through preproduction and actually followed the plan. It’s time to animate. The big show.

Oh, wait. There is one more thing you need to do before you begin to animate.

Find your scene template file you created back in Chapter 7. If you’ll recall, this file contains links to all of your characters, your rough set, and the cameras for each of your shots. Choose the shot that you will animate first, create a duplicate of the template scene file, and name it “shot01.blend”, obviously substituting the shot number you are actually working on.
