Designing in Line with Your Theme and Reality

If you have already drawn your storyboards and assembled your story reel, then you have a number of sketches of your characters. If not, that is okay. While basic character design may begin before the story—especially where the story line is driven by the character—character development continues throughout the story development and storyboarding process. It is often useful when working on a project of this size to have several tasks going at once, so that when you are not feeling particularly inspired by one aspect of the production, you can switch to another for a while.
