Using Angular Update Guide

Now that you are aware of your current versions, you are ready to use the Update Guide:

  1. Navigate to update.angular.io
  2. Select the complexity of your application:
    • Basic: No animations, no HTTP calls
    • Medium: If you're using Angular Material or making HTTP calls or using RxJS, largely working as 1-2 person developer team and delivering small apps
    • Advanced: Multi-person teams, delivering medium-to-large size apps
Most apps will fall in the Medium complexity; I highly recommend selecting this option.
