Setting up Google Analytics

Now, let's generate a Tracking ID through Google Analytics:

  1. Log in to Google Analytics at analytics.google.com
  2. Open the Admin console, pointed out as the gear icon in the following screenshot:

  1. Create a new analytics account
  2. Using the arrows from the image as a guide:
    1. Add a new Property LemonMart
    2. Configure the property to your preferences
    3. Click on Tracking Code
    4. Copy the Tracking ID that starts with UA-xxxxxxxxxx-1
    5. Ignore the gtag.js code provided
