Two main types of anger have been the subject of our discussion so far—frustration-driven anger and predatory anger. In this section I am going to try to help refine that knowledge a bit more by talking about “styles” or “themes” of angry expression. If you don’t like the terms “style” or “theme” you might relate to the notion of asking yourself “What broken record does an angry person play over and over when they are expressing their anger?”
