App-Driven Approach
At the heart of the book is our app-driven approach—we present concepts in the context of seven complete working Android apps in the print book and more online. We begin each of the app chapters with an introduction to the app, an app test-drive showing one or more sample executions, and a technologies overview. We build the app’s GUI and resource files.
