For most people, most of the time, creativity and human intelligence are overrated and underutilized. Humans are creatures of habit—that is, behavior chains that are played and replayed day after day. True, that guy driving the 18-wheeler behind you might be composing a sonata or agonizing over the significance of the Higgs boson, but from an observable, behavioral perspective, he might as well be deliberating over what to have for lunch. All that matters to his employer is that he delivers the goods intact and on time. And all you should care about is that he knows the difference between the brake and gas pedals. All else is moot.
