The BBC channel in the UK allows viewers in the UK to use the iPlayer app on their desktops and mobile devices to stream full shows from the BBC. The channel has announced plans to introduce this app to the US, starting with an iPad app; however, it has also said it intends to support Android down the road. This is projected to be a paid subscription service that will allow you to view BBC original TV series, not movies and other programming.
